Games for Windows developers can easily port their offspring on the mobile platform - WP8 will have a common platform to Windows 8 - DirectX and graphics drivers. Easier porting Android and iOS-applications. It is known that among the first games will be hits Gameloft - Nova Asphalt 3 and 7.
The new OS is native support for NFC (for example, you can transfer files and contacts from one device to another by touching - as in the Galaxy S III), and a full-fledged "mobile wallet" a la Google Wallet, but with more advanced features. In WP8 will be closely integrated with Skype, VoIP-calls will be performed entirely analogous to the usual challenges - the user will not even notice the difference.
