Defraggler 2.18: fast optimization of SSD- drives and performance charts


The Piriform company announced the release of its Defraggler 2.18 and Defraggler Portable 2.18 - interim update to its free tool defrag Windows. Version 2.18 adds new features to the recently published statistics tab, as well as a feature called Quick Optimize ("fast optimization") for solid-state drives.

Previous release defragmenter from Piriform - 2.17 - drew the attention of users of statistics tab, where they can view information about recent operations analysts and defragmentation. Version 2.18 implemented in this new tab bar charts to compare the performance of disks, which are formed by pressing the Benchmark All Drives ("test the performance of all disks").

Defraggler 2.13 - a new version of the free defragmentation tools



The company Piriform Software has released new versions of the applications Defraggler 2.13 and Defraggler Portable 2.13, popular tools for defragmenting your hard-drive.

Utility Defraggler supports all popular file systems (including NTFS and FAT32) and can equally well be used to optimize the entire hard drive or eliminate fragmentation in individual files and folders. With the proposed tool can also defragment your hard disk space, which will significantly reduce the likelihood of fragmentation. Defraggler will ensure that all new files are written in the same area on the hard disk.

The main innovation introduced in version Defraggler 2.13, was the ability to perform a fast defrag (Quick Defrag) in automatic mode. Built-in scheduler also boasts extensive customization options. For example, the utility Defraggler can now automatically complete its work by the end of the defragmentation process. In addition, the defragmentation procedure performed on schedule, will be automatically canceled in the event that the level of disk fragmentation does not exceed the prescribed value.
